Adam the Twinkie Wrangler

Monday night, I got to be a grip/"twinkie wrangler" on the crew of a short film/pilot put together for The WB network by the guys of the "Mr. Sinus Theater 2000" at the Alamo drafthouse. It was directed by my friend Jeffrey Travis who has been very successful in the indie short film scene, and is working right now on a feature length adaptation of Owen Egerton's spectacular book Marshall Hollenzer is Driving. I got to be a "grip", basically helping to move stuff and set stuff up as needed. But much more importantly, I was in charge of making sure that the evil twinkies got where they needed to be.

Once you have wrangled twinkies, you can never go back. Never.

Never.
